Dr. Calin Savu

Dr. Calin Savu has been treating chronic pain patients in Northeast Arkansas for over 20 years. His training covers internal medicine, anesthesia, and interventional pain management — which means he looks at the full picture of what's driving your pain, not just the spot that hurts.

He trained in Internal Medicine at  Morristown Memorial Hospital, a Columbia University-affiliated program, and completed his anesthesia training at Montefiore Hospital and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He holds four advanced board certifications in pain medicine and interventional pain care and is affiliated with St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He's treated thousands of patients over the years — and he'll be the first to tell you that his own pain and his patients have taught him just as much as his training did. He knows what chronic pain feels like from personal experience, and that shapes how he approaches every person who walks through the door. He listens first, asks questions again and again,, and builds and rebuilds a plan to fit and improve your life.
